ARE YOU GOING TO HEAVEN?

 

THE BIBLE TELLS US WE CAN KNOW!

“These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” 1 John 5:13

 

WE HAVE SINNED AGAINST GOD!

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Romans 3:23

Man has sinned and broken God’s law. 1 John 3:4 “Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.” We are all guilty before God. Because of our sin, we must face God’s judgment (payment) for sin –death. “For the wages of sin is death;…”  Romans 6:23. This death means separation from God in hell. (Revelation 20:14-15)

 

CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS!

God loves us so much He sent His only Son to die in our place. He does not want anyone to go to hell. “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

ETERNAL LIFE IS A FREE GIFT!

Romans 6:23b “…but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” God loves you so much that He gave His Son to die in your place and offers salvation and forgiveness of sin as a free gift. But you must receive the free gift offered to you.

HOW TO RECEIVE CHRIST!

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9, 10. You must believe with all your heart and call on Him to save you. “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13.

“I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” Luke 13:3. Repent means to have a changed mind toward God and toward sin. It means turning from your sins and trusting Jesus with all your heart to save you.

CALL ON THE LORD NOW!

Pray and ask Him to save you in your own words and be saved. “Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I understand that sinners die and go to hell to pay for their sin. I confess that I am a sinner and deserve to go to hell. I believe that Jesus died and rose again for my sin.  I repent of my sin and place my faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. Please  forgive me of my sin and save me by your grace. Thank you. In Jesus name I ask, Amen.”
